چکیده
Among various sunscreen materials, zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are excellent physical components; however, these two materials tend to aggregate form micrometer-sized particles that may impact their performance. This study utilizes fine grinding techniques break up the aggregated into small nanoparticles with a narrow size distribution averaging around 200 nm in diameter. The ground exhibit enhanced ability absorbing scattering ultraviolet radiation compared original state before grinding. Consequently, this research offers innovative concepts as well approaches towards developing highly efficient yet low-toxic components while significantly contributing preparation process optimization for mixed material

Background & objectives: Malachite green color has been extensively used in aquaculture industry around the world. The drainage of colored wastewater containing malachite green to aquatic ecosystems has created very serious risks for human health and the environment. The purpose of this study was to investigate the removal of green malachite from aqueous solutions using photocatalysis of titani...
متن کاملComparative study of the cytotoxic and genotoxic potentials of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide nanoparticles
Nanoparticles (NPs) of zinc oxide (ZnO) and titanium dioxide (TiO2) are receiving increasing attention due to their widespread applications. The aim of this study was to evaluate the toxic effect of ZnO and TiO2 NPs at different concentrations (50, 100, 250 and 500 ppm) and compare them with their respective salts using a battery of cytotoxicity, and genotoxicity parameters. To evaluate cytotox...
متن کاملIndividual and Co Transport Study of Titanium Dioxide NPs and Zinc Oxide NPs in Porous Media
The impact of pH and ionic strength on the mobility (individual and co-transport) and deposition kinetics of TiO2 and ZnO NPs in porous media was systematically investigated in this study. Packed column experiments were performed over a series of environmentally relevant ionic strengths with both NaCl (0.1-10 mM) and CaCl2 (0.01-0.1mM) solutions and at pH 5, 7, and 9. The transport of TiO2 NPs ...
